অভিলক্ষ্য (Mission)
১. বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে উচ্চশিক্ষার গুণগত মান বৃদ্ধি, প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক শিক্ষা, বহিঃবিশ্বের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ স্থাপন, জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক ক্ষেত্রে জ্ঞান-বিনিময় ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম সম্প্রসারণের মাধ্যমে দক্ষ ও প্রশিক্ষিত মানবসম্পদ সৃষ্টি করা।
1. Creating skilled and trained human resources through enhancing the quality of higher education in the University, technology-based education, communication with the outside world, and expanding national and international collaboration and research activities.

২. মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাসমৃদ্ধ শিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করে ভিশন ২০৪১ অর্জনে অবদান রাখা ও বাংলাদেশের উচ্চশিক্ষার মানকে আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে কার্যকর ভূমিকা পালন করা।
2. Contributing to Vision 2041 by ensuring education with the spirit of liberation war and playing a functional role in raising the standard of higher education in Bangladesh to the international level.

৩. প্রয়োজনীয় যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন সকল ধর্ম, বর্ণ, গোত্র, লিঙ্গ নির্বিশেষে সকল শ্রেণির নাগরিকের মানসম্মত আধুনিক উচ্চশিক্ষা নিশ্চিতকরণ।
3. Ensuring quality advanced higher education for all classes of citizens irrespective of religion, caste, creed, and gender.
